Ani Tsartsidze

 Ani Tsartsidze, coloratura soprano. In 2013 has graduated Tbilisi State Conservatoire at the class of Prof. Svetlana Egorova. (Master's Degree). She has held concerts in Tbilisi and Mantova (Italy). She has participated in concerts and festivals both in Georgia and abroad, including the Liana Isakadze Festival, Vladimir Spivakov Festival, Tbilisi Baroque Festival, "Autumn Tbilisi" and Gala concerts with Georgian Opera Soloists. Ani Tsartsidze took masterclasses with  Makvala Kasrashvili, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Linda Watson, Helen Donath, Alberto Rinaldi, David Syrus and Michele Crider. Ani Tsartsidze has performed the following roles : in 2011 with soloists of Tbilisi State Opera, Ismene (“Mitridate, re di Ponto” by Mozart), in 2012 the role of Tigrane (“Radamisto” by Handel), in 2010 the role of Gilda (“Rigoletto” by Verdi), in 2001, 2005 the role of Shepherd (“Tosca” by Puccini), Witch (“Macbeth” by Verdi) and in 2008 the role of Papagena (“The Magic Flute” by Mozart). Ani Tsartsidze has won the Tbilisi Municipality scholarship as well as the scholarship of the President of Georgia. CD was published with Anna Tsartsidze’s participation: Gia Khancheli’s “little imber” (appeared in London). In 2013 Anna was the finalist of Hans Gabor Belvedere International Singing Competition, Participant of Placido Domingo’s Operalia The World Opera Competition and participant of “Neue Stimmen” competition. 2014 - 16 seasons Ani is engaged in Düsseldorf Opera "Deutsche Oper am Rhein" for the young artist program (Opera studio). In 2015 - 16 season Ani had 71 performance at Düsseldorf and Duisburg opera houses. She performed in following productions: Donizetti "L'elisir d'amore", Verdi "Don Carlo", Mozart "Magic flute", Humperdinck "Hänsel and Gretel" Mozart "Abduction from Seraglio" and world premiere of Marius Felix Lange "Snow Queen".

In October of 2016 Ani Tsartsidze will take part in Festival "OpernWerkstatt 2016", Switzerland.
